Baby Leo

I have known Alanna for a long time and always love when I get to capture her sweet family! She had her second baby during spring when the weather was cool and the dogwoods were in bloom. I don't typically use the outdoors for newborn sessions but was SO glad they suggested getting a few shots outside! Baby Leo was a Rockstar and was very chill the entire time. Newborn sessions are quickly becoming my favorite, especially when the families are this awesome!

Lumberyard Wedding, Huntsville, AL

I have been wanting to take the time to blog this wedding for sometime now because it was PURE GOLD!  Olivia and David chose to have their ceremony and reception at the eclectic lumberyard here in Huntsville and it did NOT disappoint. They got married at the end of September and they couldn't have had a more beautiful fall day!

Olivia has a keen eye for style and she and her mom put so much thought and creativity into every detail. Her mom collected vintage pins and broaches to make all of the bouquets and boutonnieres. They also found the sweetest little ring box to use for the photos. Now, that dress!! Olivia found the skirt from BHLDN and made the top from another dress and it couldn't have been more perfect for her. All of their hard work definitely paid off and they had a colorful and beautiful celebration!

Botanical Gardens engagement session

I can't believe I haven't posted this session yet! I met Sarah and Nathan at the botanical gardens back in April, when the weather was still pleasant and the spring blooms were abundant. Sarah had her heart set on the gardens and I am so glad because it's not only one of my favorite spots in Huntsville but it sure made for a beautiful backdrop. Their session was light hearted and effortless and made me very excited for their wedding in October.

Rosy's fresh 48

We didn't have a fresh 48 session when Lilly was born. I honestly thought as a photographer I would take plenty of pictures and it wouldn't be necessary. Rookie mistake cause I barely left the hospital bed the entire time and I now regret not hiring someone. I think that's what makes me love these sessions so much. I not only get to spend time with sweet new babies but I also am able to document those sweet first memories for others that I wish we had.

I met Britt a few years back at Anthropologie and was very honored to be able to capture their new little girl! Miss Rosy was the cutest model for her session with the best little cheeks! Congratulations you two on your beautiful baby girl!

Monte Sano styled shoot

When Anna from Old Frond posted that she was looking for a photographer for a styled shoot I couldn't type a reply fast enough! Her florals are always breathtaking and the color palette of this arrangement definitely did not disappoint! Huntsville is full of so many talented women and I am always inspired anytime I get to work with any of them.  I left this session wanting to photograph all weddings in the woods! Seriously if you are planning a wedding like this let me know cause I want to be there!

Baby Margot

A beautiful home + a cute baby + a dog was a guarantee for a fantastic newborn session! I had the pleasure of capturing this sweet couple's Maternity and Fresh 48 session so I was very excited to seeing how much baby Margot has grown! Enjoy all the cuteness below!!

Downtown Huntsville Engagement

I met Rachel and AJ in downtown Huntsville for their session. They are a great example of a couple that thought they might be awkward in front of the camera but in actuality they rocked it! We had originally planned to meet on the mountain but the lack of green forced us to move downtown and I am so glad it did!

Roundhouse Wedding, Huntsville AL

Sarah & Dan just celebrated their one year anniversary! Their wedding took place at the Roundhouse depot in downtown Huntsville, AL. The brick interior, Italian twinkle lights and a killer amount of natural light made for a simple but beautiful wedding. They also opted to not do a wedding party which made there time getting ready intimate and calm. I love when bride and grooms decide to break tradition in order to have a wedding that is more personal to them.
